Effective date: 25 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and the seller of Spark Detective when you use sparkdetective.com or buy access to the game. Please read them before you pay. The privacy policy and the refunds and cancellation policy are part of these terms.
1. Who we are
Spark Detective is sold by Trim Work by Design, a business operated by Nikolay Krantsevich, 99 Mcintyre Drive, Barrie, Ontario L4N 4K6, Canada (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at sovpali.apps@gmail.com.
2. The game
Spark Detective is an online conversation card game for adults to play together, for example on a date or as a couple. The game suggests questions and light tasks; the players decide what to do with them.
The game is entertainment. It is not medical, psychological, therapeutic, sexological or any other professional advice, and we do not promise any particular result of a date, a conversation or a relationship.
3. Adults only
The game is only for people aged 18 or over. When you register, you confirm that you are 18 or older. We may close an account if we have reason to believe that it belongs to a minor.
4. Your account
- You sign in with a one-time code that we send to your email address; there is no password. Keep access to your email secure and never share a sign-in code.
- To register, you give us a phone number or a Telegram username, or both, so that we can reach you about your account and purchases. We do not verify them.
- An account is for one person. You are responsible for what happens in your account, unless it was used without your permission and you could not reasonably prevent it.
5. Free and paid access
After you register, the first chapter of the game is free. The full game requires paid access. Paid access is sold as a subscription for 1, 6 or 12 months.
Before you pay, the purchase page and the Stripe checkout page show the plan, the price, the currency, how often you will be charged and the total amount of the payment. The amount shown at checkout is the amount you pay.
6. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe’s checkout page; we never receive or store your full card number. Your access opens once Stripe confirms the payment to our server; returning to the site from the checkout page alone does not confirm a payment.
7. Automatic renewal and cancellation
- A subscription renews automatically for the same period — 1, 6 or 12 months — at the price you paid when you subscribed. Each renewal is charged to your saved payment method at the end of the paid period, and the new period starts when the previous one ends.
- A change of our prices applies to new purchases. It does not change the price of a subscription you already have.
- You can cancel at any time: open Settings on the site, choose “Manage subscription” and cancel in Stripe’s billing page, or write to us. After you cancel, there are no further charges and your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Until then you can turn renewal back on in the same place.
- If a renewal payment fails, Stripe may try the charge again. If the payment cannot be collected, the subscription ends and paid access stops.
- Each renewal is a separate payment. The refunds and cancellation policy applies to it as to the first payment.
8. Refunds
You can get a full refund of any payment, including a renewal, if you ask within 7 days after the day of the charge. Paid access bought with a refunded payment ends when the refund is made. The details are in the refunds and cancellation policy. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the law of your country.
9. How you may use the game
- Your access is for personal, non-commercial use. Playing it together with your partner or the other players in a game session is part of normal use.
- Do not share your account or sign-in codes, resell access, give public or mass access to the game, or copy, publish or distribute its content without our permission.
- Every question and task is optional. Any player can skip a card or stop the game at any time. Anything involving physical contact happens only with the clear, continuing consent of everyone involved; if someone does not agree or changes their mind, stop.
- Do not misuse the site: do not try to access other people’s accounts, disrupt the service or get around its technical limits.
10. Content and intellectual property
The texts, illustrations, characters, design, software and other materials of the game belong to their rights holders and are used lawfully. Buying access does not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.
11. Availability
We work to keep the game available and may update its content and features. Short interruptions for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control can happen. If paid access cannot be provided because of a problem on our side, write to us and we will fix it or refund you in line with the refunds and cancellation policy.
Spark Detective is not offered in the Russian Federation, and the site is not available from Russian IP addresses. The Russian-language game at совпали.рф is a separate service with its own terms and accounts.
12. Responsibility
- We are not responsible for being unable to use the game for reasons on your side, such as no internet connection or an incompatible or faulty device, as long as the game works on our side.
- Players are responsible for their own decisions and actions towards each other.
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, or the rights you have as a consumer under the law that applies to you.
13. Ending your account
You can stop using the game at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing from the email address of the account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example in case of fraud or misuse; if the account has an active subscription, we will cancel it and handle any refund that is due.
14. Messages from us
We send you the messages needed to provide the service: sign-in codes, payment and access notices and answers to your requests. Stripe may send you payment receipts. We send marketing messages only if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms by publishing a new version on this page with a new effective date. A purchase is governed by the version in force when you made it, unless the law requires otherwise. If a change materially affects an active subscription, we will tell you by email before it applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel if you do not agree.
16. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts where that law allows. Please contact us first: most problems can be solved quickly by email.
If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest of them remains in force.
17. Contact
Questions about your account, payments, cancellation or refunds: sovpali.apps@gmail.com. Please write from the email address of your account and include the date of the purchase. Never send your sign-in code or full card details.
